A successful and completely modern tribute to the classic BMW 507, the Z8 has a fascinating silhouette and harmonious lines, accentuated by the balance of dimensions: 4.40 m long, 1.83 wide and 1.31 high. It is a pure spyder, just like its 50s ancestor. A prototype, the Z07 had been presented in 1997 to anticipate the Z8 which would go into production in 2000 to remain available until 2003. Powered by a 5-cylinder and 400 horsepower 8-cylinder engine, the Z8 was built in 5700 units.
