McLaren diecast scale model cars
With that infamous opening statement 'Designed, engineered and built to be the best driver’s car in the world' (www.mclaren.com), the McLaren F1 has never failed to deliver, either as a 1:24 diecast scale model or in its full technicolour glory on the roads. Originally launched in 1993, it defined the concept of the supercar as did its 'spiritual successor' 20 years later, the McLaren P1.
Beautiful to the eye and exhilaratingly quick, the record slaying McLaren F1 changed history in the world of super fast cars. Offered as a technological masterpiece with the world’s first carbon fibre road car, as well as the world’s fastest production car, according to McLaren, it's still the fastest naturally aspirated road car ever built.
Whilst the McLaren P1 is the fastest production car in the world with a record breaking 240.1mph, it's the technical innovation namely being the first road car built around a carbon fibre tub pioneered by McLaren Formula 1 that is so beautifully interpreted in these stunning diecast model cars.
The F1 GTR was entered in Le Mans in June 1995, and achieved a feat yet to be achieved by any other manufacturer. As well as winning and occupying four of the top five places in just 24 hours, McLaren became the greatest supercar of its generation, to become the most successful British race car of modern times.
Considered by many as another high point in its illustrious career is the spectacular McLaren 12C amongst our collector's item. It's the first McLaren designed and built production car since the legendary F1 between 2009-14. A pure McLaren, its innovative design and Formula 1™-sourced technologies make it one of the most versatile and potent supercars on the road.
Also amongst our McLaren diecast collection is an adage to the versatility of this marque with the McLaren 650S, the Spider taking it that much further. Not only as the world's most versatile supercar, but also with a retractable hardtop retaining the McLaren 650S's breathtaking dynamics and open top driving enjoyment.
With the most successful marque in Formula 1 driving history over 50 glorious years, originally founded by its legendary owner Bruce McLaren, whose vision still breathes through each and every sports car produced by this most illustrious brand, the McLaren range of diecast model cars never fails to deliver to the most discerning of our collectors.
Our selection of McLaren model cars at Silent Autos are chosen from a wide range of high quality model manufacturer's including AUTOart, Minichamps and TrueScale, our competitive pricing reflects the best quality, most detailed and lovingly-crafted replicas currently available on the market.
The McLaren diecast models are available in several scale sizes ranging from 1:12 to 1:87 with 1:18 and 1:43 scale being particularly popular. Unsure what scale you would like your car model? Then our article 'a question of scale' will point you in the right direction.
